Schnegel Fechten is the Dallas School of Historical Fencing's first major tournament. We have invited as many as we could find from our local area, and are inviting all regional participants to come and attend and see what the DFW area has to offer. Schnegel Fechten will be a historically inspired event, covering the transition of the martial ethic of fencing from ernst to schimpf, and will include a mixed weapons event, and a longsword main event, with a harness event and classes on the second day. Colin Hatcher and Brett Skinner are our local instructors and we encourage all to attend. Prizes will be awarded and food will be served. AC and bathroom on premises. Slightly limited parking.
