Midwinter Armizare Open 2023

Hello, Welcome to Midwinter Armizare Open.

We consider ourselves the season-opener for the Midwestern regions' tourney scene, and are on our 5th season this year. We are really excited to welcome new and returning fighters! This year, We'll be expanding into a two day format, and once again returning to hold the tournament in our home space FORTEZA FITNESS, now greatly expanded in size. We hope that the new format and expanded space will make things easier and more comfy for all. It also solves the parking problem, because there's a lot of it, and it's free on the weekends.

We will have three tourneys this year, Long Sword, One Handed Sword, and Sword & Companion.

• Long Sword is of course, Hema's Favorite.
• The Sword in one hand is a Mixed Weapon event, allowing medieval style sword, messers, side swords, and rapiers. Sorry, no broad swords, sabers, or small swords. full details in the rules.
• Sword plus Companion is using the same spread, but requires the player to carry a dagger or buckler along side their main weapon.
