Salt Lake Stabbity is a celebration of the rapier in three different periods of development, and an opportunity to build bridges between the SCA rapier community and the HEMA rapier community.
It will consist of three tourneys, moving backwards into the past:
The Late Tourney:
Transitional rapier and smallsword –
3-person team relay mixer fought with single smallsword
The Middle Tourney:
The classic rapier –
Rapier and offhand tourney fought under SCA rapier rules adapted to work in a HEMA tournament format
The Early Tourney:
Sideswords and other
single-handed 16th century swords –
Mixed-steel single-handed-sword (with optional offhand) tourney fought under standard HEMA Alliance style rules
