Aegean HEMA Open 2026

The event will host 48 fencers, exclusively dedicated to longsword competition. The tournament is open to practitioners who wish to compete, as well as to those who prefer to attend without entering the tournament. Spectators, coaches, and club members are welcome to join, observe, and share in the HEMA community atmosphere. It’s an opportunity to combine HEMA fighting with a short vacation experience, enjoying the city, its surroundings, and its cultural and social environment alongside high-level martial exchange. We aim to create a respectful, well-organized, and friendly environment that reflects the spirit of Historical European Martial Arts—competition, learning, and camaraderie.
