The tournament will take place at the Thornshire Renaissance Faire in Rigby, Idaho on Saturday, July 25th from 12PM-5PM. As part of the partnership with the Fair, participants and spectators are expected to buy a fair ticket at a discounted price in order to participate in the tournament.
Spectators need not pay a participant fee but still must sign-up, acting as an RSVP for anyone we bring to the Thornshire Renaissance Faire through the tournament. After the tournament, you can enjoy the rest of the fair.
There will be 3 Tournaments:
- Longsword Tier A - This ruleset is designed for people who have been to 3 or more tournaments or would consider themselves to be intermediate to advanced fighters. However, anyone can choose to participate if they so desire.
- Longsword Tier B - People who have little to no tournament experience or who consider themselves beginner to early-intermediate fighters.
- Sidesword - People of all skill levels that wish to compete in a sidesword tournament.
