In a continued effort to provide more to the Scottish HEMA community we are proud to announce the first of hopefully many intramural tournaments.
What is it?
It will be a fully fledged tournament, run under normal competition conditions i.e judges/table staff ect.
It is an opportunity to help teach Judges and for fighters to get used to some of the stresses of competition
We will be using a variety of different rule sets depending on numbers and we ask that everyone takes a turn in judging
We ask that Instructors do not fight and instead help staff the event to give students a better chance at the "medal" fights"
There are no prizes, this will NOT be on hema ratings. all you get are good fights and bragging rights.
We will run only Open and URG Longsword for the first one but this will change as these events run more often.
We have a second room available on the Sunday from 2pm-6pm for some free sparring
