CMU HEMA is hosting our inaugural tournament of the planned-to-be-annual Scotty Scuffle! This is a HEMA tournament geared primarily toward members of university teams associated with the Northeastern Intercollegiate HEMA League (NIHL) but open to all fencers over the age of 18. We will be running 5 events, including Synthetic Longsword, Steel Longsword, URG Longsword (Under Represented Genders), Steel Rapier, and Steel Sabre. There will be space set aside for free sparring so that fencers have the opportunity to spar in a more relaxed manner during downtime.
