As we’re preparing for Cactus Cup 2026, we’re excited to welcome our students, friends, and neighbors to join us in November for MordMini X! Registration is now open–click here to access the registration form + full event requirements.
MordMini X is an unrated, open steel longsword tournament happening on Saturday, November 22nd at Mordhau Historical Combat 2909 S. Dobson, Mesa, AZ 85202. Because we’re using this tournament to stress-test our Cactus Cup 2026 longsword rules, gear requirements, and train our staff, this will be a relaxed environment open to all skill levels. Results will not be submitted to HEMAratings. Quick facts:
Timing: Registration/check-in opens at 10am with pools beginning at 11am. There is no defined end time, so please plan to have an open schedule for the day.
Cost: $20 for competitors. Spectators are free to watch, but an optional $5 donation or case of water bottles would be appreciated. Payment will be collected at the door–cash, credit, debit, Zelle, and PayPal are accepted.
Gear: Competitors will be required to have their own equipment suitable for the tournament, and must pass our gear check requirements. We cannot guarantee loaner equipment availability. Gear reqs are per the Cactus Cup 2026 requirements.
