Join Us for Lake Edge Open, the East coast's first annual cutting tournament! Lake Edge Open is committed to growing the sword cutting competition scene and enhancing the practices of Historical European Martial Arts.
Competitors have the opportunity to compete in three separate categories (Arming, Longsword and Messer/Falchion), as well as access to a cutting class, hosted by Phil Martin, and a sharpening demo, hosted by Chris Fields of Sterling Armory.
Along with the cutting events, all competitors and general admission attendees may enjoy medieval games including archery, axe throwing, bags, and sword jenga, along with the opportunity to pet and feed the many animals of our host location, Sterling Farmery.
Our organization values tradition, community, and the advancement of swordsmanship through engaging competitions and education.
