The Atlantic Renaissance Fencing League is putting on a March Madness event, hosted by MKDF and organized by ARFL. This is a friendly tournament aimed primarily at HEMA fencers in the DC-Baltimore area.

Registration is limited to  32 entrants for the event. If registration is full and you are interested in participating, please contact ARFL at the following address to be placed on the waitlist: arfl.hema@gmail.com

The event will be hosted March 28th and 29th 2026, at Top Tier Columbia in Columbia, MD.  Check in begins at 9:30 AM for Longsword with pools beginning at 10 AM.  Smallsword check in will begin at approximately 4:30 with pools to begin after the Longsword Finals.  

 

On March 29th, check in will begin at 9:30 for Arming Sword and Buckler with pools to begin at 10 AM.  Check in for Sidesword will begin at approximately 4:30 with pools to begin following Arming Sword and Buckler Finals.    

Previous volunteers get priority registration for future events and payment for their time!  If you'd like to be considered to volunteer, please email us at arfl.hema@gmail.com.  

Spectators get in free and DO NOT need to purchase their own ticket.
