"The Krieg" is a Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) tournament hosted by Ironwood Sword School.
32 competitors will challenge each other in duels using fencing-safe weapons in two divisions: Longsword (with dagger on the belt) & Messer. The tournament will host pools, eliminations, and awards all in one day.
It is open to competitors by invitation, and open to any and all spectators from the general public interested in learning more about how we practice, compete, and make HEMA safe for everyone. The event is free and run by volunteers, in the interest of building a more active, educated, and connected community.
